Not at all. One of my best friends is my ex BF of 7 years. I'd get on a plane for him if something bad happened. When people appreciate the best qualities in each other, they can love someone like family. I don't scorn anyone I've loved. The past is the past and I only want what is in front of me. We're all dying quickly so we have to live the least mundane, least selfish lives we can.
